DOPPA intervenes in Publisher's crisis, PPA, IPA disown Bok, public advised to shun Bok's leadership.

As Director of Press and Public Affairs (DOPPA), Dr. Gyang Bere, intervened to resolve the Publishers crisis, Plateau Publishers Association (PPA) and Independent Publishers Association (IPA) have disowned Daniel Bok's leadership, advising the public not to deal with him. 

A power tussle within the PPA led to the disputed election of Daniel Bok as Chairman. The majority of PPA members, led by Chief Nanyah Daman and Shabul Mazadu, rejected the election, citing its secretive nature and alleged irregularities.

Dr. Bere has called for a meeting with both factions to facilitate dialogue and resolution. The DOPPA has stated that it will not deal with any factional leaders until the issues are resolved and an authentic EXCO is presented.

The PPA and IPA have warned the public not to recognize Daniel Bok's leadership, cautioning that dealing with him may lead to litigation. The associations plan to elect a new EXCO within the week, with a neutral person mediating between the parties pending resolution.
