UCL: ‘Very elite striker’ – Guardiola hails Osimhen, three other Galatasaray players

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has hailed Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen ahead of both teams’ UEFA Champions League clash on Wednesday.
Guardiola described Osimhen as a very elite striker, adding that the Nigeria international has other special and experienced Galatasaray players like Leroy Sane, Ilkay Gündoğan and Mario Lemina, he can connect with on the pitch of play.
The Spaniard spoke at his pre-match press conference on Tuesday ahead of the encounter.
“Victor Osimhen is a very elite striker. Osimhen has special players he can connect with,” Guardiola said.
“Sane is very fast, very agile… Ilkay Gündoğan, Mario Lemina… He has experienced players.”
Man City head to the game after beating Wolves 2-0 in the Premier League over the weekend.
Galatasaray, on the other hand, defeated Fatih Karagümrük 3-1 in the Turkish Super Lig tie.
