NNL hammer falls on Bichi First FC, Gombe United

Bichi First FC have forfeited three points and three goals to Adamawa United after abandoning their clash with the latter.

The Nigeria National League, NNL, declared that Bichi First FC violated his rules and regulations.

DAILY POST reports that Bichi First refused to continue play after Adamawa United scored late in the game protesting the referee’s decision.

Bichi First walked off from the pitch, while the referee waited for 17 minutes, before calling off the game.

The Kano-based club also received a fine of N2millon for their action.

Similarly, Gombe United also get a fine of N2,390,000 million for encroachment and attempts to hinder streaming of their matchday 11 against Yobe Desert Stars.

Gombe United also damaged the gadgets of its streaming partner Sportslight Hub Crew.

The Savannah Scorpions have been asked to play their next home match without their fans in attendance.

Bichi First FC and Gombe United have the right to appeal the sanctions.
