Kebbi CP warns newly promoted officers against corruption, indiscipline

The Commissioner of Police in Kebbi State, Bello Sani, has urged newly promoted officers to see their elevation as a call to higher responsibility, reminding them to remain professional, disciplined, and committed to service while shunning corruption and unethical practices.

Sani gave the charge on Thursday at the State Police Headquarters in Birnin Kebbi, where the command decorated 37 officers with the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police, DSP. The ceremony was conducted on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun.

The commissioner noted that the promotion exercise was part of the Nigeria Police Force’s ongoing efforts to reward dedication and strengthen operational capacity across its formations.
