Church targets religious, financial bondages among believers
Ecclesia Hills Church has concluded plans to address the subtle and overt bondages prevalent among believers, saying Jesus Christ can put an end to them.
Pastor Moses Ida-Michaels said many people carried the name of Christ yet remained bound by religion, fear, habits, financial pressure and generational patterns.
However, Ida-Michaels said the upcoming gathering would focus on seeing freedom clearly and walking in it, adding that participants would explore the principles that bring true liberty.
He said this while announcing the sixth edition of the church’s flagship Ecclesia Word Conference, themed ‘Freedom in Christ’, scheduled to hold from Friday, November 6, to Sunday, November 8, 2026, at The Hall, 16 Musa Yar’Adua Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.
He said: “Many people carry the name of Christ yet remain bound by religion, fear, habits, financial pressure and generational patterns. This gathering is about seeing freedom clearly and walking in it. Together, we will hack the principles that bring true liberty to life.”
Spanning three days, the conference schedule features a robust lineup of teaching sessions tackling freedom across various spheres of human existence. El-Shakar is scheduled to anchor the session on Free a Generation, while Jabar Mckellar will speak on Freedom from Religion.
Pastor Chris Delvan will minister on freedom from mammon, sinful addictions and fear of consequences, as well as freedom to serve God’s purpose. Prophet Julius-Cudjoe will speak on freed bloodlines, cycles, enchantments and liberty ideology.
The event will begin on Friday at 9 a.m., continue on Saturday at 8 a.m. and conclude with a midday session on Sunday at 12 p.m.
