PDP announces zoning committee inauguration date

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced that it will inaugurate its Zoning Committee ahead of the 2025 Elective National Convention.
According to a statement posted on the party’s official X account and signed by Hon. Umar M. Bature, the PDP National Organizing Secretary, the inauguration is scheduled to take place on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at the NEC Hall, Wadata Plaza, Abuja.
The event is scheduled to begin at 12 noon.
The party has invited all its governors, members of the Board of Trustees (BOT), National Working Committee (NWC), National Executive Committee (NEC), serving and former members of the National Assembly, and other key stakeholders to attend the event.
The statement described the inauguration as a noble event.
It further urged party members to take part as they begin what it called the journey of restoring the nation.
