Ozegbe felicitates DTHA Speaker, Guwor over birthday anniversary

John Ikechukwu Ozegbe, a frontrunner for the Ndokwa West Constituency seat in the Delta State House of Assembly come 2027, under the All Progressives Congress, APC, has congratulated the Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, on the auspicious occasion of his birthday anniversary, describing him as a leadership model and a beacon of inspiration to Deltans.

Mr. Ozegbe, in a congratulatory birthday message which he personally signed, hailed Speaker Guwor for the maturity, dynamism and legislative mastery with which he has expertly steered the affairs of the House and carried his colleagues along, as his tenure has unfolded.

Ozegbe wrote: My Boss, the Rt. Hon. Speaker, It is with great joy that I, on behalf of my family, offer my sincere and heartfelt congratulations to you, on the joyful occasion of your birthday celebration today, April 1, 2026.

“Your tenure as Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, has been nothing short of phenomenal, especially underscored by the astute legislative acumen you have exhibited, not only in enhancing a harmonious, commitment collaborative synergy between the Legislature and the other arms of government, in the collective effort to deliver the MORE Agenda and provide good governance to Deltans, but also in attracting national recognition, which crystalized with your election as Chairman, Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures in Nigeria.

“Mr. Speaker, I recall vividly, the period you served as Chairman, House Committee on DESOPADEC from 2019-2023 and I was the Clerk 1 of that Committee. The administrative mastery with which you handled that assignment, as well as your unquenchable passion for the development and upliftment, not only of the Oil Producing Communities and peoples but indeed Deltans and Delta State, as a whole, have remained indelible and equipped me with great legislative knowledge and experience.

“I remain eternally grateful for the opportunity to work closely on Assembly matters with an exceptionally creative, ingenuous, insightful and visionary, yet humane and humble leader like you and as you celebrate your birthday, I wish you many more years of sound health, more wisdom and God’s Divine protection and direction, in all your endeavors.
