Former Watford striker, Troy Deeney, says he feels sorry for Leny Yoro, arguing that the France defender currently has nobody at Manchester United to “learn off.”

Man United beat Real Madrid to sign Yoro from Lille in 2024, with the centre-back joining for £52million after making just 60 appearances for the French Ligue 1 club.

Yoro was regarded as one of Europe’s most highly rated young defenders when he made the move to Man United, but his early spell at the Premier League club has not been entirely smooth.

"Leny Yoro, decent, but he has no chance," Deeney told SunSport.

"By the way, this kid is playing for France for Zinedine Zidane.

"He has no chance to look around and go, how do I learn here? Who do I learn off? So you feel sorry for him."
