In a statement he personally signed yesterday, Akpabio, who noted that President Tinubu is a visionary leader with the Midas touch to reset Nigeria, said, ‘On behalf of my family, the wonderful people of Akwa Ibom North West, the Senate and indeed the 10th National Assembly, I wish to heartily rejoice and dutifully felicitate the President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria – Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GGCFR – on the occasion of his 74th birthday.’

“Your Excellency, it is a thing of joy to see you reach this age in good health in mind and in body.

“I pray that the Almighty God will continue to bless you with good health, the desired strength and wisdom to effectively navigate and deliver on the Renewed Hope Agenda for the benefit of all Nigerians.

“Mr President, I must admit that you are an audacious and visionary leader whose quest to set the nation on a transformational pedestal is never in doubt.

“Your leadership, vision, and dedication to our great nation are truly inspiring. As Senate President, I have had the privilege of working closely with you, and I must say that your passion for Nigeria’s progress is contagious.

“You have demonstrated astute leadership, advocating for democratic values and bold economic reforms. Although the reforms came at a cost, there is certainly light at the end of the tunnel, as they have already started yielding dividends.

“At the National Assembly, we will continue to collaborate with and complement your efforts to bequeath arganic and indelible legacies for the future generations.

“Congratulations, Your Excellency, and may God bless your new age.”

Also, in his birthday message to President Tinubu, the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau Jibrin, APC, Kano North, said that a second-term win will precede his next birthday.

JJibrin, who eulogised President Tinubu on his 74th birthday, prayed that Almighty God grant him sound health and long life to achieve his aspiration to turn the Federal Republic of Nigeria into a land of prosperity.

Born on March 29, 1952, President Tinubu will be 74 on Sunday, March 29.

In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ismail Mudashir, Senator Jibrin expressed optimism that Nigerians will overwhelmingly vote for President Tinubu on January 16, 2027, during the presidential election, to continue his reforms and infrastructural development for the country’s progress and prosperity.

He said, “Happy 74th birthday to the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.” He is a visionary leader who has been working tirelessly for the past 34 months to reposition our country for the benefit of both present and future generations.

“By the grace of God, Nigerians will overwhelmingly vote for President Tinubu come January 16, 2027, when the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will conduct the presidential election.

“I have no doubt that by this time next year, when we will be celebrating his 75th birthday, he will be the President-Elect for his second term. The victory will herald his birthday celebration.

The deputy president of the Senate urged all citizens to continue praying for the country and to offer their full support to President Tinubu, emphasising that the president has the country’s best interests at heart.

Senator Barau, who is also the First Deputy Speaker of the ECOWAS Parliament, reaffirmed the support of the

National Assembly to the President, adding, “We stand with the President on this journey to address our nation’s challenges for the benefit of our people.”
