AFCON: Rio Ferdinand names three Super Eagles players to win trophy for Nigeria

Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand has named three Super Eagles players to help Nigeria win the AFCON.
The former England international named Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman and Alex Iwobi.
Ferdinand spoke before Nigeria’s AFCON semi-final tie with Morocco on Wednesday night.
Speaking on his podcast, Rio Presents, Ferdinand said: “All of my African friends – most of them are probably 75 per cent of them are Nigerian.
“And if I say anyone else, they are gonna kill me. I know it is not secure yet, but nah, they’ve got Osimhen, though.
“Osimhen’s looking to go past [Rashidi] Yekini. You have got [Ademola] Lookman, the [2024] African Player of the Year. As they have got [Alex] Iwobi playing. Like I would like to see Nigeria, man.”
