AFCON 2025: CAF marks 100 days to kick-off

The Confederation of African Football, CAF, has celebrated 100 days to the start of 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, DAILY POST reports.

Morocco will host the biennial competition for the first time in 37 years.

The North Africans hosted the AFCON for the first time in 1988.

Morocco 2025 will bring together passionate fans from across the continent, and also showcase Africa’s football to the rest of the world.

Twenty four countries will participate in the competition which will run from December 21, 2025 to January 16, 2026.

The finals will be played in nine stadiums across six cities – Rabat, Casablanca, Fès, Tangier, Marrakech and Agadir.
