2027: We’ll deliver one million votes for Tinubu- Ondo Non-Indigenes

The Progressive Network for Tinubu (PNT) and leaders of the non-indigene community in Ondo State have drummed support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, pledging to deliver over one million votes in the 2027 general elections.

Speaking at a rally of non-indigene stakeholders in Ondo State, the Director-General of the Progressive Network for Tinubu, Olumide Obadele, said the group had mobilised communities across the state and was confident of surpassing the support recorded in the 2023 election.

Obadele said that the non-indigene community, which comprises about 20 different groups in the state, had unanimously endorsed Tinubu’s re-election bid.

According to him “we have about 20 communities under the umbrella of non-indigenes in Ondo State and we have declared our support for the re-election of Bola Ahmed Tinubu. This development excites us and we are glad about it.

The DG, noted that ” the level of mobilisation witnessed at the rally would translate into a significant number of votes in the next election cycle.

“In the 2023 election, non-indigenes delivered about 30 percent of the votes for Tinubu. I can assure you that in 2027 it will be more than that. Ondo State will deliver nothing less than one million votes for Tinubu”.

He said that the Progressive Network for Tinubu had engaged stakeholders across the non-indigene communities in the state under the influence of the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, to encourage support for Tinubu’s re-election.

Obadele urged members of the communities to ensure they obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the next election, stressing that continued support for the president was necessary for Nigeria’s progress.

According to him ” we must orientate our people to get their PVCs. The best we can do for the country is to re-elect Tinubu internal disagreements within the group had been resolved.

“We have completely resolved the in-fighting in our party. We are now united for victory”.

Also speaking at the event, the President of Non-Indigenes in Ondo State, Usor Fidelis, described the gathering as both significant and purposeful, noting that it marked a formal declaration of support for Tinubu’s leadership.

Usor said that “Today’s gathering is both significant and purposeful. We have assembled here to formally declare our support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whose leadership has demonstrated courage, vision and determination in steering Nigeria through a critical period of national transformation”.

She added that the rally was not only a political event but also a demonstration of unity among residents of diverse backgrounds who have made Ondo State their home.

“It is not just a rally; it is a celebration of leadership, unity and the shared vision of a stronger Nigeria. As non-indigenes who have made Ondo State our home, we are proud to contribute to its economic growth, cultural diversity and social harmony”.

The President,expressed appreciation to the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, for his support and role in strengthening the Progressive Network for Tinubu platform in the state.

According to her, the non-indigene community in Ondo State—comprising traders, professionals, artisans and entrepreneurs from different parts of the country—remains committed to promoting unity, peace and national development.

Usor declared that “We are united by one goal: the peace, stability and prosperity of our country. That is why we are here today—to reaffirm our support for continuity, progress and purposeful leadership.
