Three Fulani leaders, including the president of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, MACBAN, Kwara State chapter, have been arrested over alleged involvement in kidnapping and the sponsorship of armed bandits.
According to security reports, the Miyetti Allah leader reportedly admitted to aiding multiple kidnapping operations linked to armed Fulani bandits.
The suspects are said to be over 60 years old, individuals who should serve as voices of peace, now accused of fuelling terror and violence.
The case, however, highlights alleged moral failure by specific individuals, not an entire community, and underscores the need for full accountability under the law.
