PUBG MOBILE announces First In-Game collaboration with Afro Street Pop Artist, Ayomaff
PUBG MOBILE has announced its first in-game collaboration with an African music artist: Nigerian Afro Street Pop artist Ayomaff to launch a new campaign for its Version 4.5 Update across Africa. This groundbreaking partnership seamlessly combines tactical gaming with unstoppable energy of African music and youth culture while supporting the PUBG MOBILE’s long-term plan to create more local content for players within the region.
The partnership introduces “Ya Man,” an original song created by Ayomaff in direct partnership with PUBG MOBILE. The song reflects the energy of African youth and the teamwork that defines the PUBG MOBILE experience. Inspired by the electrifying street sounds of Lagos and mixed with PUBG MOBILE’s core values of survival and squad synergy, “Ya Man” is a high-energy anthem celebrating every clutch play, victory, and squad bond.

Rooted in African youth slang, the campaign’s central theme “Ya Man, We Move” resonates with many African youth communities, “Ya Man” is a simple expression of confidence, affirmation and victory. While “We Move” is a popular phrase that represents resilience, action and the decision to continue no matter how tough the zone gets. Together, the two expressions encourage players to stay focused, back their squad, and hustle for that Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!
Ayomaff drew inspiration from the sound and culture of the streets of Lagos. PUBG MOBILE contributed the values that define its gameplay, including teamwork, survival and cooperation. The result is a song that celebrates players who work together, overcome challenges and achieve success as a team.

Starting August 7, African players can unlock exclusive Ayomaff-themed in-game content, giving them a chance to flex local culture directly on the field. It will also connect African music with interactive entertainment through a local creative partnership.
But the vibes won’t stop there, PUBG MOBILE will promote the collaboration through an official music video drop, creator-led showcases, viral social media challenges, and regional esports events. These activities will help more players discover the collaboration and engage with both the music and the game.

Gear up, assemble your squad, and turn the volume up: We Move!
