Olise included in Champions League Best XI, Yamal left out
UEFA has unveiled its official Champions League Team of the Season for the 2025/26 campaign, with Paris Saint-Germain dominating the selection after their triumphant run to the European title.
The Team of the Season was chosen by the UEFA Technical Observer Group and features five PSG players, the highest representation from any club.
Among those selected are Player of the Season Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who occupies a place on the left side of midfield, and Vitinha, who was named Player of the Match in the Champions League final.
The duo are joined by captain Marquinhos and Nuno Mendes in defence, while Ousmane Dembélé leads the attack.
Premier League side Arsenal have three players included in the star-studded XI following their impressive run in the competition. Goalkeeper David Raya earned a spot between the posts, while defender Gabriel and midfielder Declan Rice were also recognised for their performances throughout the campaign.
Bayern Munich contributed two players to the team, with Michael Olise and Harry Kane both making the cut after strong individual seasons in Europe.
Atlético de Madrid’s Marcos Llorente completes the lineup as the only representative from the Spanish club.
Notably absent from the selection is Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal, despite his standout displays during the season.
