NNPP hope of Imo people – Party chair, Orji

The Imo State Chairman of New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Innocent Orji, has asserted that the only way the voice of Ndimo and the Southeast region as a whole can be heard is by identifying with NNPP, which he described as people oriented.
He narrated that the party is a mass movement with structures spread across Nigeria and in diaspora, armed with well defined ideology, geared towards upholding and defending the tenets of democracy, ensuring adequate protection of life and property of every citizen.
The State party chairman made the assertion while fielding questions from journalists on the party’s preparedness to participate in the 2027 election in the State.
He hinted that the party was focusing on building a strong foundation to win elections not only in the State but across the federation, adding that NNPP had been working tirelessly to strengthen its structures and mobilize grassroots support across the State.
Orji added that the party was committed to serving the Nigerian people through advocating for developmental projects mostly in Imo State.
“We believe in the potential of the State and its people. We are working hard to ensure that our party becomes a strong force to reckon with in the political hemisphere of the State.
“The party is very optimistic about the future and invites all Imo citizens to join us in building a better tomorrow,” he said.
The State chairman encouraged active participation in strategic sectors of the economy to promote national development.
He assured that insecurity was going to be a thing of the past if the party assumed leadership of the State.
