NNL: Amuneke happy with Heartland’s win over Inter Lagos

Heartland technical adviser, Emmanuel Amuneke, has expressed satisfaction with his team’s victory over Inter Lagos in a Nigeria National League, NNL, matchday four encounter.
The Naze Millionaires edged out Inter Lagos 3-2 at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri on Saturday.
Amuneke admitted that the Lagos-based side gave his team a good run in the game.
He assured they will continue to improve on their performance in subsequent matches.
“The victory will definitely help us in our standings on the league table,” Amuneke stated in a post-match interview.
“It was a very good game. Inter Lagos are also a good and energetic side. They gave us a very difficult challenge in the game, we needed to win and we won against Inter Lagos.
“In football you cannot explain everything immediately, we will go back and review everything and improve from there.”
