Eid-el-fitr: Zamfara gov’t approves early payment of March salaries

Zamfara State Government has approved the early payment of March salaries to all civil servants and pensioners across the state ahead of the Eid-el-Fitr celebration.

The gesture is aimed at easing financial pressure on workers and retirees and enabling them to make adequate preparations for the Sallah festivities.

Information from the Office of the Accountant General of the State indicated that necessary arrangements have been concluded to ensure the prompt payment of salaries and pensions to all beneficiaries across the state.

Governor Lawal reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the welfare of civil servants and pensioners, acknowledging their dedication and contributions to the development of Zamfara State. He assured that his government will continue to prioritise policies that improve the well-being of workers and retirees.

He urged civil servants and pensioners to continue supporting government policies and to pray for peace, unity, and sustained development in the state.

The government wished all civil servants, pensioners, and the good people of the state a peaceful and joyous Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
