Content creators Carter Efe and Kolu Wahala were released from police custody on Thursday after resolving a dispute with singer Portable at a police station in Sango, Ogun State.
Their detention followed a confrontation at Portable’s Odogwu Bar the previous evening.
According to reports, Portable called in law enforcement during the unannounced visit due to security concerns, which led to the temporary holding of Efe, Kolu, and their team.
The matter was settled thanks to the intervention of Ija Omode Oga of Destiny Records, allowing all parties to leave the station after an agreement was reached.
Portable later confirmed the resolution in a video shared on his Instagram page.
Despite the settlement, Portable expressed frustration toward Kolu, his former signee from Zeh Nation, accusing him of being ungrateful for leaving the label that helped him gain recognition in Lagos.
Portable also commented on Kolu’s girlfriend, Chidinma, suggesting that her alleged interest in him may have been motivated by financial considerations.
With the conflict resolved, Efe and Kolu have returned to their routines, and speculations still hover whether or not the proposed ring fight between Portable and Efe would later take place.
