Ambassador: Odu praises Jimoh Ibrahim’s UN appointment

Princess Oladunni Odu, the first female Secretary to the State Government (SSG) in Ondo State, has praised President Bola Tinubu for appointing Senator Jimoh Ibrahim as Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations.

In a statement in Akure, the state capital, Odu described the appointment as “a reflection of President Tinubu’s commitment to placing qualified individuals in important positions.” She added that Ambassador Ibrahim is well-prepared to represent Nigeria in global forums.

“I join many Nigerians in congratulating our country on Senator Jimoh Ibrahim’s appointment,” Odu said. “This posting highlights his experience and the confidence the President has in him to represent Nigeria internationally.”

Odu also noted that the people of Ondo South Senatorial District, whom Ibrahim previously represented in the National Assembly, are proud of his new role. She wished him success, saying: “May God guide him as he assumes this important responsibility.”
