Yobe: Gov Buni approves appointment of 10 new permanent secretaries [SEE LIST]

Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni has approved the appointment of ten new permanent secretaries in the State Civil Service.

The approval was contained in a statement signed by Chief Information Officer, Office of the Head of Service, Alhassan Sule Mamudo, and made available to newsmen.

According to the statement, the appointments reflect the administration’s commitment to strengthening the bureaucratic structure, enhancing service delivery, and promoting merit-based leadership across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies, MDAs.

The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are Bamai Zanna, Engr. Mai Madu Goniri, Bako Modu Kagu, Musa Garba, Abubakar Usman Kolere and Ibrahim Ali.

Others are: Mohammed Annur, Abbas Isah Bizi, Mohammed Kalli and Dr. Yusuf Idriss Madaki.

The appointments, which take immediate effect, are part of an ongoing reform initiative aimed at injecting fresh energy and professionalism into the state’s public service, in line with global best practices.

Reacting to the development, Focal Person, Digital and Strategic Communications to Yobe State Governor, Yusuf Ali, said Governor Buni’s strategic appointments aims at building a legacy of sustainable and revitalized civil service.
