We expelled Kofa for trading our party for ministerial job – NNPP’s Dungurawa

The Chairman of the New Nigeria People’s Party NNPP, Kano Chapter, Suleiman Hashimu Dungurawa, has clarified that the party sacked the House of Representatives member representing Kiru/Bebeji, Abdulmumini Jibrin Kofa for allegedly trading the party for a job in the APC Presidency.

Reacting to allegations of not been fair to him and not allowing him to defend himself, Dungurawa asked, how can you give a chance to someone who went to town attacking your party and showing his readiness to decamp?

“We took the drastic measures of sacking Abdulmumini Jibrin Kofa from our noble party, after understanding that he was clearly seeking a job in Abuja using our party.

“Don’t forget that Kofa had offered an interview attacking Kwankwaso our presidential candidate and also our leader and said he was ready to move out of our party, what are we waiting for.”

The Chairman said, “did we need until he disgraced us before we acted on him, somebody who kicked against a leader and also called the party and it’s noble followers names, what are we waiting for, our actions was even belated.”

Dungurawa, alongside the Special Advisor to Governor Yusuf on political matters, Sunusi Sirajo Madobi, received hundreds of Kwankwasiyya Movements supporters from Kiru, Kofa and Bebeji during a solidarity visit.
