War: Iran gives only condition to reopen Strait of Hormuz

Iran says the only condition to reopen the Strait of Hormuz is the allocation of revenue to compensate for damage caused by the war started by the United States and Israel on February 28.
A spokesman at the Iranian President’s Office, Mehdi Tabatabai, disclosed this via X on Sunday.
“The Strait of Hormuz will be reopened only when part of the transit revenues is used to compensate for all damages caused by the imposed war,” Tabatabai said.
Tabatabai also lashed out at US President Donald Trump, saying he had resorted to insults out of desperation and anger, accusing him of initiating a full-scale war in the region.
The war has claimed the lives of over 1,340 people to date, including the then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
In retaliation, Iran has struck Israel and United States interests across the Middle East and also restricted the movement of ships through the Strait of Hormuz.
