Recall that the PDP secretariat was sealed in November last year after a clash between the Tanimu Turaki-led National Working Committee, NWC, and the Abdulrahman Mohammed-led caretaker committee.

Both factions were laying claim to the party’s leadership.

However, an Appeal Court, in March, invalidated the Ibadan convention that produced the Turaki-led leadership.

NEC meeting

Today, Wike’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, posted a two minutes 16 seconds long video on his X (Twitter) handle, showing Wike arriving the party’s national secretariat.

He was then joined by other party elders and state representatives.

Expected to be at the Abdulrahman Mohammed-led faction meeting are former Senate President Bukola Saraki, and former Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu.
