Club of former Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag, has mocked the Red Devils ahead of the Champions League draw.

Grimsby Town, a club in the English League Two, knocked out Manchester United in the second round of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.

The unexpected result has since been generating reactions and is now a talking point for fans worldwide.

Manchester United fired Ten Hag last season and appointed Ruben Amorim, who has not been able to turn things around at Old Trafford.

Ten Hag was hired by Bayer Leverkusen, who have now joined in mocking the former Premier League kings on social media.

Manchester United were beaten 12-11 by the League Two side after the game ended 2-2 in normal time.

Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo missed for the Red Devils.

“Just hoping we don’t get Grimsby…” Leverkusen wrote on social media.

Ten Hag was without a job before Bayern Munich appointed him as their new manager.
