Traffic Alert: Gridlock as truck overturns on Otedola Bridge

Motorists and other road users have been advised to take alternative routes following a truck accident on Wednesday morning at Otedola Bridge along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway, inward Lagos.
The incident, according to officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), occurred at about 7:00 a.m., resulting in heavy traffic congestion in the area.
The truck, which was carrying two 20-foot containers, reportedly overturned and blocked about 90 per cent of the roadway, leaving only one lane open for other motorists.
LASTMA officers have been deployed to the scene to manage traffic and assist stranded motorists, while a recovery vehicle has been dispatched to evacuate the fallen truck and clear the road.
