Serie A: Lazio plan new contract for Dele-Bashiru

Lazio are working on a new deal for Nigeria midfielder, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, DAILY POST reports.

Dele-Bashiru has established himself as an important figure since arriving at the Stadio Olimpico from Turkish club Hatayspor in 2024 despite his injury struggles.

According to Italian outlet, Corriere dello Sport, Lazio are keen to keep the player for a long spell.

The 25-year-old has two years remaining on his contract, and the new deal will help the club secure his future.

Dele-Bashiru has been linked with Premier League clubs in the past.

Lazio are also considering new deals for Danish winger Gustav Isaksen and Italian midfielder Nicolò Rovella.

Dele-Bashiru recently returned to action for Lazio after sustaining a hamstring injury on the opening day of the season against Bologna.

He featured for 30 minutes in the Rome club’s 3-1 victory over Monza last weekend.

Lazio will be away to Juventus in a Serie A encounter on Sunday.
