SDP State chairmen urge continued member sensitization ahead of 2027 elections

Ahead of the 2027 presidential and general elections, State Chairmen of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) have called for intensified sensitization initiatives to engage and inform party members across the country.

The call was made in a statement signed by the forum’s Secretary, Idris Adamu, highlighting that Nigerians now have a credible alternative in the SDP, which the forum described as a stable, united party with a manifesto capable of driving national progress and transformation.

The forum, led by Hon. Femi Olaniyi Ferrari, congratulated the affirmed National Chairman, Prof. Sodiq Abubakar Gombe, noting that his confirmation reflects broad support from the party’s National Executive Council. The statement also acknowledged the contributions of the party’s leadership, former 2023 presidential candidate, and stakeholders in strengthening the SDP’s position.

The forum further congratulated newly confirmed State Chairmen and prayed for divine guidance in their leadership roles.

Additionally, the forum inaugurated its executive members, who include: Hon. Femi Olaniyi Ferrari as Chairman of Chairmen (COC), Abba Modu as Deputy Chairman for the Northern Region, Hon. Okunlade Michael as Deputy for the Southern Region, Idris Adamu as Secretary, Idoko Itodo as Assistant Secretary, Kingsley Obina Agbo as Treasurer, Allen Amadien as Publicity Secretary, Barrister Yerima Yakubu as Legal Adviser, and Willington Odiong as Ex officio.

The forum wished all members a successful tenure, emphasizing their commitment to advancing the SDP’s objectives nationwide.
