The Nigeria Police Force has foiled a planned bandit attack and arrested three suspects in the Kasuwan Magani area of Kaduna State.

The development was shared in a post on X by security analyst Zagazola Makama on Wednesday.

According to the report, the suspects were arrested following credible intelligence that bandits were planning to attack motorists and abduct children passing through the area.

Acting on the information, the Divisional Police Officer of the Kasuwan Magani Division quickly mobilised police personnel and deployed them to strategic locations to prevent the planned attack.

The operation led to the arrest of three suspected bandits identified as Jonathan John, Oliver Magaji, and Bitrus Sawaba.

According to the post, “Their arrest disrupted the planned operation and prevented possible abduction of children and other victims.”

Security sources said the suspects are currently in police custody, while investigations are ongoing to uncover their network and possible involvement in other criminal activities in the area.
