The Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Naanlong Daniel, visited the residence of former Senator Istifanus Gyang to offer condolences on the passing of his mother, Ngo Gweh Lyop Gyang. The Speaker described the deceased as a godly woman who played a significant role in shaping Sen. Gyang's leadership qualities.
"We come in solidarity to comfort you during this difficult time," Rt. Hon. Naanlong Daniel said. "May God grant you and your family the strength to bear this irreparable loss." He commended Sen. Gyang's exemplary leadership and credited his mother for her wise counsel and support.
Sen. Gyang expressed gratitude to the Speaker and his team for their visit, saying it brought him comfort. He also congratulated the Speaker on his emergence and prayed for God's guidance and protection as he leads the Assembly.
