Panic as gunmen ambush, kill one in Plateau community

Suspected gunmen on Friday morning ambushed and killed a man in Tan Jol community, Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The victim was reportedly waylaid and shot dead in the early hours of Friday, a development which threw residents into panic.
Rwang Tengwong, National Publicity Secretary of the Berom Youth Movement (BYM), confirmed the incident to our correspondent in Jos.
According to Tengwong, the gunmen ambushed the man in Tan Jol area of the community, leading to his death.
He said the sad incident occurred at about 7 am.
Efforts to get the reaction of the Plateau State Police Command Spokesman Alfred Alabo proved abortive as he could not be reached for comments.
