NPFL: Niger Tornadoes vs Plateau United called off due to heavy downpour
The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday three fixture between Niger Tornadoes and Plateau United has been postponed until Monday morning due to heavy downpour at the Bako Kotangora Stadium in Minna.
The match was stopped in the 86th minute as the rain left the pitch waterlogged.
The scoreline was at 1-1 when the game was called off by the center referee.
Bashir Musa drew Niger Tornadoes level with a clinical finish following Jibrin Ibrahim’s opener for Plateau United.
DAILY POST learnt that the remaining six minutes plus the additional time will be completed at 8 am on Monday morning.
