Kwara United technical adviser Ashifat Suleiman believes that the return of injured players was key to his team’s win over Niger Tornadoes.

Midfielders Toheeb Gidado and Olanrewaju Abdulrahman returned to the team in Sunday’s 2-0 victory over Niger Tornadoes.

Gidado played a pivotal role against the Ikon Allah Boys and was awarded the Player of the Match for his impressive performance.

Suleiman commended the players for showing determination in securing the victory.

“I’m satisfied with my players’ performance,” Suleiman told Sportslighthub.
“My boys showed great characters and we were further boosted by the return of some previously injured players.”

Kwara United moved up to 10th position on the league table with 21 points from 16 matches.
