NDLEA arrests suspected drug dealer in Kano

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, in Kano has arrested a 23-year-old man, Faisal Yusuf-Umar, over alleged drug dealing in Fagge Local Government Area of the state.
NDLEA spokesperson in Kano, Sadiq Muhammad-Maigatari, said in a statement on Sunday that the arrest followed a surveillance operation prompted by community complaints.
He said operatives raided the suspect’s residence in Dandali, Fagge LGA, on July 18, recovering 40 bottles (4kg) of Benylin with Codeine and N204,000 in cash.
The NDLEA said investigations were ongoing to uncover other individuals linked to the case.
