Digital banking platform, Moniepoint Microfinance Bank (Moniepoint MFB), has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening value creation across Nigeria’s financial ecosystem, positioning itself as a key enabler of the real economy.
The bank said its long-term strategy is anchored on building a locally relevant, technology-driven financial infrastructure to support merchants, agents and small businesses operating in Nigeria’s complex commercial environment.
Speaking on the bank’s evolving strategy, Senior Vice President, Distribution Network Sales, Ezekiel Sanni, said the institution is positioning itself as more than a financial service provider.
“Beyond service provision, the bank is cementing its identity as the homegrown technological backbone of the real economy, built by Nigerians to solve local commercial complexities,” Sanni said.
He explained that Moniepoint’s agency banking model is built on trust, consistent enterprise support and long-term value creation.
“Agency banking has grown significantly in reach, but the next phase will be defined by quality of service and depth of engagement,” he said.
Sanni noted that the bank’s hybrid model—combining digital infrastructure with field-based support—enhances issue resolution, fraud prevention and anti-money laundering compliance.
He added that the platform has evolved into an integrated ecosystem offering inventory tools, savings and access to working capital.
“Our aspiration is to become indispensable to the businesses we serve,” he said.
