Superstar singer and entrepreneur, Akon has claimed that life was easier for him when he was engaged in romantic relationships with multiple women, a remark that has stirred intense controversy on the nature of polygamy.
Akon said this in an interview on the Shade Room while reflecting on his past relationships and current personal life.
He acknowledged the comfort and ease he had while in relationships with multiple women, describing it as a better phase than monogamy.
He suggested that having multiple partners brings less pressure and that variety makes life simpler.
“My life was very much easier when I had multiple women surrounding me, but me being with just one woman is a lot harder,” he said.
However, when he was asked about his current relationship situation and the number of women he is currently dating, he humorously pleaded not to answer.
Akon avoided the question completely, saying, “I plead the fifth; it will be incriminating to answer.”
