Let’s support Aiyedatiwa for political stability, future victories — Alade

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and United States–based Security Consultant, Monday Alade, has called on the people of Ondo State to unite behind Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for the progress, political stability, and future electoral victories of the state.

Alade said what the governor needs most at this time is the full support of the people to succeed. He described recent incendiary remarks directed at Aiyedatiwa as unfortunate, recalling that similar attacks once undermined the achievements of the late Dr. Olusegun Agagu.

Alade, who currently serves as a police officer in the U.S., urged residents of Ondo South not to repeat past mistakes, stressing that it is the Ikales who would bear the greatest loss if they fail to rally behind the governor. He reminded them of the prolonged blackout endured by the Ikales and Ilajes for nearly 25 years and cautioned against letting history repeat itself.

“This is a lifetime opportunity for the people of Ondo South to have one of their own as governor. The South develops faster whenever a Southerner leads because only Southerners truly understand the peculiar challenges of the region,” he said.

Alade maintained that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s policies and programmes are already yielding positive results and urged APC members across the state to close ranks in support of his administration.

On security, he commended the governor for improving safety of lives and property, noting a tremendous improvement across the state. He, however, advised the deployment of modern technology and advanced training for members of the Amotekun Corps.

“You must combat security challenges with modern technology,” he emphasized.

Alade also expressed delight at the achievements of the Aiyedatiwa-led administration, particularly the recent National Bureau of Statistics report ranking Ondo State as the first to clear its internal debts and the least in the national poverty index.

He lauded the governor’s legacy projects, including the dualization of major roads and the execution of critical infrastructure, describing them as laudable and beneficial to the state’s long-term development.
