LaLiga: Barcelona to choose new captain

Barcelona could remove Marc-Andre ter Stegen as their captain, Mundo Deportivo reports.
The LaLiga champions want to take disciplinary action against Ter Stegen, as the feud between the goalkeeper and the club continues.
Last month, the Germany international revealed he had undergone surgery on his back.
Ter Stegen also claimed he would be out of action for three months.
His actions have left Barca president Joan Laporta and sporting director Deco fuming and ready to take the armband off him.
Ter Stegen was only installed as the team’s skipper last year after Sergio Roberto’s departure.
Barcelona are yet to make a final call on the captaincy decision, however, as Laporta and Deco plan to meet manager Hansi Flick to discuss the situation before taking any action.
