Just in: Nenadi Usman set to take over Labour Party Secretariat

All appears set for the official takeover of the National Secretariat of the Labour Party (LP) by Senator Nenadi Usman, arguably the first female National Chairman of a major political party.
The secretariat located at the Utako District, Abuja, was hitherto occupied by the Julius Abure-led faction of the party until the recent decision of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officially recognised Usman and her team.
Already, a banner bearing the photographs of Usman and the acting National Secretary, Senator Darlington Nwochocha, is being hoisted around the building preparatory to an event signalling the beginning of a new era.
