I’ve no apologies for supporting Tinubu, he’s my friend of 22 years – Soludo

Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State on Tuesday, boldly described President Bola Tinubu as his friend of 22 years.
Soludo said he is unapologetic about his support for President Tinubu and his reforms.
The governor had visited Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
During his visit, Soludo wore a cap with Tinubu’s insignia.
Addressing journalists after the visit, Soludo said: “These caps were produced even from the time the president visited Anambra State and you saw all the billboards and stuff proclaiming that Progressives are working together.
“Subsequently, it’s a fundamental idea that I believe very strongly and all the political parties who profess progressivism should actually come on together in a massive coalition to deepen not only the process of our democracy but also of our economic and socio-development of our country.
“For me, when I say progressives working together is a call for all those who come on board.
“Talk about Tinubu, I have no apologies about it, President Tinubu is my friend and has been my friend for 22 years now and counting. So you don’t deny a friend, I support him.
“I’m impressed by the bold steps he has taken particularly in the area of the economy, the structural reforms and I have said so severally. We are taking the right steps, we only need to stay the course.”
