The husband of popular social media personality Eniola Fagbemi, widely known as Sisi Alagbo, Adesola Akeem, has apologised following the circulation of a leaked video involving his wife and another woman.

The clip, which surfaced online on Monday, quickly went viral, sparking widespread reactions across social media platforms.

The footage, showing the trio in an intimate setting, initially spread through WhatsApp groups and Telegram channels before making its way to gossip blogs, Instagram pages, and adult-content websites.

In the video, Fagbemi is seen recording Akeem and the third woman. The circumstances surrounding how the video was leaked remain unclear.

In a statement shared on his Facebook page on Thursday, Akeem accepted full responsibility for the incident and expressed regret over the situation.

“I write with a deep sense of responsibility and sincere remorse to extend my heartfelt apologies to my family, friends, business associates, religious leaders, fans, loved ones, and the entire Nigerian public over the recent incident involving a leaked sex scandal.

“I acknowledge the disappointment, embarrassment, and concern this situation has caused, and I take full responsibility for my actions,” he wrote.

He further admitted that his behaviour fell short of the expectations of those who trusted him.

Akeem also extended apologies to his family, associates, and supporters.

“To my fans and supporters, I deeply regret letting you down,” he said.

Describing the moment as a period of reflection, he noted his intention to make amends and rebuild trust.

“I am committed to making better decisions, rebuilding trust, and upholding integrity in both my private and public life going forward,” he added.

Fagbemi had earlier issued her own apology on Wednesday via her verified Facebook account, revealing the emotional toll the incident had taken on her.

“I own my mistakes, and I apologize with all sincerity for the video circulating online. I am deeply sorry to everyone who felt disappointed in me,” she wrote.
