Jalingo — Abubakar Bawa, former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Taraba State, has been affirmed as the new State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) following his recent resignation from the PDP.
The party’s State Congress on Tuesday in Jalingo also elected Irimiya Ande’tarang, former PDP Public Relations Officer, as Secretary.
The appointments reflect a realignment of political structures in the state after the defection of several top PDP officials and lawmakers.
