The Ebonyi State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for the 2023 general elections, High Chief Chukwuma Odii, has dumped the party. His resignation was contained in a letter dated Thursday, January 1, 2026, which The Guardian obtained in Abakaliki.
