Bearing arms will support FRSC personnel work better – Corps Marshal

Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Shehu Mohammed, has said that bearing arms would enable personnel of the corps work better.
Mohammed made this statement on Thursday while responding to questions in an interview on Arise Television.
“It is difficult for the FRSC to stop a trailer or truck on the road, especially those carrying a lot of passengers at the top with animals, and the FRSC only has 4 men as a team.
“Carrying arms will support the personnel to stop trailers with a lot of passengers. Power is cohesion. If you don’t have the power to enforce anything, there’s no way you can achieve that enforcement.
Weighing in on the issue of bribe, the Corps Marshal said, “It’s a matter of time. It will be nipped in the bud.”
