Bandits strike again, kill one, kidnap two in Plateau

One person has been confirmed killed, and two otters kidnapped after bandits stormed a community in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State on Monday.
According to a report by security expert, Zagazola Makama, the fresh attack occurred at about 12:15 a.m. when some youths were ambushed on their way to Barkin Ladi town.
Makama said the heavily armed gunmen opened fire on the victims, killing one youth identified as Dayes Alexander, 25, while two others, Palang Daniel, 26, and Gabriel Ayuba, 25, were abducted to an unknown destination.
He added that security operatives were deployed to the scene and were combing the surrounding bushes to rescue the kidnapped victims.
According to him, the remains of the deceased had been released to the family for burial after an autopsy was declined.
