Activist Mahdi Shehu lists possible political alliances ahead of 2027 elections

Popular activist and whistle blower, Mahdi Shehu has shared his thoughts on the possible political alliances that could shape Nigeria’s 2027 elections.

In a post on X on Sunday, he named several key combinations expected to contest for power.

For the ruling party, APC, Shehu mentioned possible pairs like Tinubu and Shettima, Tinubu with Modu Ali Sheriff, Tinubu with Dogara, and Tinubu with Mathew Hassan Kuka.

In the ADC party, he highlighted the Atiku and Ameachi partnership.

For the Labour Party (LP), he listed Obi teaming up with Tambuwal, Obi with El-Rufai, and Obi with Datti.

In the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), he said some possible alliances include Ebele Jonathan with Bala Mohammed, Ebele Jonathan with Kwankwaso, Seyi Makinde with Bala Mohammed, and Wike with Kwankwaso.

Shehu warned that in all these combinations, the devil will be an interested party.

He suggested that the political battles will be tough and full of challenges.

He urged Nigerians to prepare well by getting their voters’ cards and to be careful as politicians use different strategies to win power.
