Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, representing Abia South, on Saturday, secured the Labour Party senatorial ticket for a 6th term bid.
Abaribe, who won his first term in 2023 on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), defected to the Labour Party after a temporary stay in the ADP.
Senator Darlington Nwokocha, who was displaced at the Court of Appeal by the incumbent Senator Austin Akobundu, also emerged as the LP candidate for Abia Central.
Amobi Ogah and all serving House of Representatives members of the LP from Abia all secured their return tickets.
