2027: I don’t mind changing parties 20 times – Peter Obi threatens to dump ADC

A former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi, has admitted he could be leaving to leave the African Democratic Congress, ADC, if their internal processes are compromised.

Obi stated this during an interview on Arise TV on Monday.

He opened up on why he dumped the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and warned he would be willing to decamp again.

“I moved from APGA to the PDP because of issues with my successor. Rather than allow it to become toxic and become destructive to the governance of the State, I moved out,” Obi said.

Obi recounted his time in the PDP and how it became transactional in the party.

“People were not playing by the rules. It was transactional. I cannot be part of a transactional primaries. I cannot be paying people to go and serve them,” Obi said.

“So I moved to Labour Party, and of course like I said, government came into same system, which is very clear, I escaped from the fire they started.

“I’m in ADC with the same people, some of whom have left PDP and other parties but we are going through the same process.

“If that process is again compromised, I will speak out.

“If I have to move 20 times, I will,” Obi emphasized.
