2027: APC remains party to beat – Nasarawa speaker

The Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Dr Danladi Jatau, says the All Progressives Congress (APC)  remains the party to beat at all levels in the upcoming 2027 general election.

Jatau stated this on Tuesday in Lafia, while playing host to over 20 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders of the Eggon extraction, who are set to dump their party for the APC.

He assured all members, especially those  who recently ditched their parties for the APC, of equal opportunities and rights.

The speaker expressed joy with their decision, which he described as timely and well-informed.

Jatau revealed that he would inform the governor of the state and the party chairman of their move, after which they would be officially received.

The speaker described their move as another big catch and victory for the ruling party in the state.

Jatau called  for loyalty, unity and teamwork among party members for a landslide victory in 2027.

He called on residents to continue praying and supporting the administration of President Bola Tinubu and Gov. Abdullahi Sule to succeed.

Earlier, the team leader, Alh. Abubakar Company said they were shifting the tent as a result of the development and quality leadership of Gov.  Sule and the speaker.

He added  that they would add value to the party and ensure the victory beyond 2027.
