Gov Adeleke has pulled Osun backwards – APC scribe, Basiru Ajibola

The All Progressives Congress, APC, National Secretary, Ajibola Basiru, on Thursday accused Governor Ademola Adeleke of pulling Osun State backwards since assuming office.

Basiru alleged Adeleke’s administration is only concerned on how to embezzle state funds.

He spoke during the APC’s mega rally in Osogbo, Osun State, where he scored Adeleke’s administration low in education, electricity and road infrastruture.

“For about three years and a half that the current governor assumed office, it has been setbacks for Osun State. Upon Tinubu’s assumption of office, states have been receiving heavy allocations from the Federal Government but what did Adeleke do with the money? Education and electricity are functioning below par.

“Teachers that should have been employed under this administration still lack jobs, good roads that they were supposed to do, they did not – this government is only concerned on how to embezzle money. In Osogbo alone, there are several roads that this government has refused to construct.

“On Saturday, our candidate is capable because he has knowledge of governance. Our candidate has insight in governance. But who the ruling party is fielding, will you accept him to help you do your business?

“On Saturday it’s the votes for the future of our children; those saying yesterday that APC intend to rig the election, are they up to us in numeric value? Like the minister said, they were supposed to gather crowd but they never had anybody to bring together because they are liars. We will vote and also have a victorious laugh on Saturday,” Basiru said.
